A&M System Board of Regents Member Gene Stallings Visits with A&M-Commerce Head Coaches and Athletic Administration

Texas A&M University system board of regents member Gene Stallings visited with the head coaches and administration of the athletic department as well as university president Dr. Dan Jones at Texas A&M University-Commerce on Tuesday. 

 Stallings serves as the board's special athletic liaison to the A&M system members. He shared lessons that will only benefit the individuals in their particular sport but away from it. Among the lessons was the significant role that compliance plays within an athletic department and to live within our budget. Stallings also talked about the need for a personal philosophy in life as well as the difference in philosophy and goals.
