Athletic Director Carlton Cooper to Serve as the Liaison to the Lone Star Conference Men's Basketball Coaches

Recently, the Lone Star Conference announced that Texas A&M University-Commerce athletic director Carlton Cooper will serve as the athletic director liaison to the LSC men's basketball coaches.

Cooper's appointment as Athletic Director Liaison to the LSC Men's Basketball Coaches was made by the commissioner's office. All 15 Lone Star Conference Athletic Directors are asked to serve as a liaison to the various coaches' groups as a way of enhancing communication and efficiency during the governance process. 

Lone Star Conference commissioner Stan Wagnon said, "I'm pleased with Carlton's contributions to the men's basketball coaches group. Obviously the men's basketball coaches are one of our most important groups, and their leadership will go a long way in helping to improve men's basketball matters in The Lone Star Conference."
