Lions Participate in Commencement Exercises

10 student-athletes and a former student manager participated in graduation ceremonies for their undergraduate degrees on Saturday. Three others with ties to the athletic department received their master's degree.

Anthony Tosie, a three-year member of the men's track and field team, earned his degree with summa cum laude honors.

Five with ties to the Lions' football program including Alex Contreras, Josh Faggard, Frank Sandoval, Daniel Swaim and Ranshod Wilson as well as Rashad Brown; a member of the men's basketball team earned their bachelor's degree.

Along with Tosie, teammate Leslie White received his bachelor's degree and Sabrina Hadnot from the women's track and field team. Plus, Blake Worden and Ali Tanner of the men's and women's golf team respectively earned their bachelor's degree.

Kristin Stone, a former student athletic trainer, Chelsea Pattison, a former track and field student athlete and Jason Burton, an assistant men's basketball coach, earned their master's degrees.
