Hurricane Ike Affects Lions Schedules

Texas A&M University-Commerce athletic director Carlton Cooper announced on Thursday that Hurricane Ike has affected the Lions football and soccer schedules for the upcoming weekend.

The Lions football game on Saturday against No. 4 Abilene Christian has been moved from a 6 p.m. kickoff to 2 p.m. in Shotwell Stadium in Abilene. 

He also announced the cancellation of the women's soccer game against St. Mary's on Saturday at 12 noon at the A&M-Commerce Soccer Complex. The match will not be rescheduled.
