15 Student-Athletes Earn Degrees
Texas A&M University-Commerce had 15 individuals with ties to the athletic department earn degrees in Saturday's commencement exercises. Two-sport athletes Robert Reed (track and field/cross country) and Leonard Jackson (football/track and field) were among the 15.
Along with Jackson, former football teammates Sean Alexander, Carl Crawford, Maurice DuPont, Luis Salazar and Danny Stark earned their degrees.
Bailey Geels, a four-year member of the women's soccer team and Jamie Gililland, a four-year member of the women's golf team received their bachelor's degrees. Cedric Griffin, a four-year member of the men's basketball team, earned his bachelor's degree.
Along with Reed and Jackson, track and field teammates Katie Barthold, Randahl Hickman and Jeff Rayome earned their bachelor's degree.
Brittany Williams (pictured), a
four-year member of the volleyball team, completed her five-year
bachelor's/master's of business administration degree. Teammate
Wannie Neal received her bachelor's degree.
