Texas A&M University-Commerce Holds Harvey Martin Classic Press Conference

As part of last week's activities for the Harvey Martin Classic, the athletic department held a press conference at the flag room of Dallas City Hall on Wednesday, August 9th.

At the press conference, city of Dallas mayor Tom Leppert, Texas A&M University-Commerce president Dr. Dan Jones, athletic director Carlton Cooper, head football coach Guy Morriss and Lone Star Conference commissioner Stan Wagnon made remarks.

“It’s exciting for us to be a part of this vibrant culture and this vibrant Metroplex,” said Dr. Dan Jones. “It’s a real honor to be in this beautiful room in this beautiful city and prepare for a beautiful event.”

“You are all here to celebrate a great event that we have on Sept. 12,” said Dallas mayor Tom Leppert. “I also want people to understand how important those institutions are and how important they are to our community.”
