Location
Texas A&M University-Commerce is located in
Commerce, Texas, about an hour and a half northeast of downtown
Dallas. For those traveling to Commerce from either the east
or the west, take Interstate 30 to exit 101 outside of Greenville,
then take highway 50/24 north 10 miles to Commerce.
Athletic
Department
The Texas A&M University-Commerce Athletic
Department is located in the first floor of the Field House,
directly east of Memorial Stadium. The main offices are located in
the main gym area on the west side of the Field House. The
A&M-Commerce Media Relations office is located in room 209 on
the second floor of the Field House. The A&M-Commerce Athletic
Training offices are located in the northeast corner of the main
gym area on the northeast side of the Field House.
Parking
Parking for all A&M-Commerce athletic events
are free of charge. The main parking lot for Lion athletics is
located south of the Field House in lot L or on the west side of
Memorial Stadium in lot A. Additional parking is available in lot
C, located to the south of Gee Lake, and lots E, F, G and H located
on the south side of campus by the Sam Rayburn Student Center.
Tickets
Tickets are required for admittance to
A&M-Commerce football, basketball, volleyball, soccer and track
and field events. Football ticket prices are $15 for reserved seats
and $10 for general admission. Basketball ticket prices are $8 for
adults and $6 for children/students, with one ticket being good for
both games of the basketball women-men double-header. Ticket prices
for soccer and volleyball are $6 for adults and $4 for
children/students. UIL events held on the A&M-Commerce campus
are $10 for adults and $5 for children/students.
Media
Relations
Media efforts for all 11 A&M-Commerce sports
are coordinated through the Media Relations department. Credentials
for A&M-Commerce athletic events need to be coordinated through
the Media Relations office by calling (903) 886-5131 or e-mailing
Rand
Champion. Wireless internet is available at Memorial Stadium
and the Field House with radio lines also available for visiting
radio.
