WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Five Lions will compete at the NCAA Nationals today and will try to advance to finals of their events on Saturday.

Brikel Bailey qualified in the 800m and is the 16th seeded runner in the field. Bailey's time of 2:13.92 at the Lone Star Conference Championships earned her a spot.

Anthony Harris, Dorian McCradic, Matt Rich and Luis Romero qualified for the men. Harris will be competing in the Long Jump. Harris' winning jump of 7.31m at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships was enough to qualify.

McCradic qualified in the Mile Run along with Romero. Both runners are in the Top 25 nationally in the Mile. Matt Rich will compete in the Heptathlon over the two days of the competition.

Prelims will take place on Friday with the finals for those events on Saturday.
