Coming off a third place finish at the WT Buffalo Stampede on Saturday (Sept. 12), Texas A&M University-Commerce senior Tyler Tyndell was recognized as the TXRunning.com Men's College Runner of the Week.
Tyndell was the top finisher among Division II competitors at the WTAMU Equestrian Center in Canyon, Texas, finishing the 8k course in 26:28. Tyndell led the A&M-Commerce men's team to a fourth-place finish.
"Tyler improved from last week. He was very consistent in his mile splits, which moved him up to third place," said assistant coach Karen Prisby following the race.
The next meet for A&M-Commerce is on Saturday, October 3rd at the Cowboy Jamboree, hosted by Oklahoma State University.
