Three Lions Named to the Lone Star Conference Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team

Three members of the Texas A&M University-Commerce men's cross country team - Logan Kelly, Tyler Tyndell and Brandon Womack - were named to the 2009 Lone Star Conference Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team.

The Lions landed three of the five spots on the All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the honors, student-athletes must maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade point average.

It is the second year that Kelly and Tyndell have been named to the All-Academic Team and for Womack it is his first honor after being named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, last year.

The three and the rest of the men’s team as well as the women’s team will compete on Saturday at the Lone Star Conference Championships in Canyon, Texas.
