2008 (Cross Country): Received All-Lone Star Conference recognition, following an eighth-place finish at the LSC Championships…named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team for his academic and athletic efforts…third at the UIW Cardinal Invitational as the Lions’ won the team title…earned all-region honors with a 13th-place finish at the NCAA South Central Regional as A&M-Commerce finished fifth as a team…third among his A&M-Commerce teammates and 59th overall at the Cowboy Jamboree.

2008 (Track & Field): Just missed qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a career-best performance in the 1,500-meter run en route to an eighth-place finish at the 2008 Bobby Lane Invitational…sixth in the 1,500-meter run at the LSC Championships…won the 1,500-meter run at the Mean Green Twilight and the David Noble Relays…sixth in the 5,000-meter run at the Tarleton State Relays.

2007 (Cross Country): Third among his A&M-Commerce teammates as the Lions finished fourth at the LSC Championships…72nd at the NCAA South Central Regional meet…ninth at the UCO Land Run…46th at the Texas A&M Invitational…team named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

2007 (Track & Field): Won the 1,500-meter run and third leg of the sixth-place 4x400-meter relay at the McMurry Relays…second in the 1,500-meter run at the Tarleton State Invitational…fifth in the 1,500-meter run and 13th in the 800-meter run at the LSC Championships…third in the 1,500-meter run at the TCU Invitational… fifth in the 1,500-meter run and eighth in the 5,000-meter run at the Trinity Invitational…eighth in the 3,000-meter run at the Boathouse Sports North Texas Classic…13th in the 1,500-meter run at the Dr. Pepper Invitational

2006 (Cross Country): Third among his A&M-Commerce teammates in the final four meets of the season: LSC Championships, the Missouri Southern State Stampede, the Cowboy Jamboree and the Brooks Memphis XC Twilight…37th at the LSC Championships…fourth among his A&M-Commerce teammates and 57th overall in his collegiate debut at the UT Tyler Invitational.

Prior to A&M-Commerce: A four-year letterwinner in track and field and two-year letterwinner in cross country at Sachse High School...a two-time all-district and team MVP selection in cross country...as a junior, he was the district champion in cross country and in the 1,600 and 3,200-meter run...named team MVP as a junior in track and field...served as team captain during his senior year.

Personal: Born February 19, 1988...son of Randall and Jayne Reed...a kinesiology major.
