Special Promotions Set for Wednesday's Basketball Games Against Central Oklahoma

In addition to exciting basketball games against LSC North Division member Central Oklahoma on Wed., January 27th, the athletic department at Texas A&M-Commerce has planned a series of special promotions to coincide with the game. 

•  At halftime of the women’s game, there will be a 3-point shooting contest and at halftime of the men’s game, there will be a dunk contest. Winners of each contest will receive a special Nike package. 

•   

Both teams will be taking part in the NABC Coaches vs. Cancer as members of the coaching staff will be coaching in tennis shoes and donations will be accepted throughout the game for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. 

•  Also, an individual will be randomly selected for a chance to win $250 in the Alliance Bank half-court shot.

•  Also, at halftime of the women’s game, there will be another edition of the Chicken Express Musical Chairs contest.

Admission for the game for adults is $8.00, students, faculty/staff and individuals 55 and older it is $5.00.
