A&M-Commerce Athletic Director Carlton Cooper to Serve as Keynote Speaker for Texas Dixie Baseball/Softball State Convention

Texas A&M University-Commerce athletic director Carlton Cooper will serve as the keynote speaker for the Texas Dixie Baseball/Softball State Convention on Saturday at the Letourneau University Education Center in Longview. 

The mission of the Dixie Baseball/Softball program is to provide a recreation outlet for as many as possible with an emphasis on local league play rather than tournament play. The program is for boys and girls age 18 and under. 

The state of Texas is among 10 states to sponsor the Dixie Baseball/Softball program throughout the nation.
