The Texas A&M University-Commerce Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted its first annual “Show Your Stuff” talent show on Tuesday night to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Students, student-athletes and faculty and staff signed up and were split into three divisions. A winner was selected from each division before an overall winner was announced.

Freshman Jeric Griffin from Atlanta, Texas did his rendition of Elvis and took the student honor, track and field student-athlete Lyndon Wyse and “The Band” claimed the student-athlete award and the “Recommenders” earned the faculty and staff as well as the overall title.

“I think the talent show was a great start that could turn into an annual fundraiser for SAAC and Make-A-Wish,” said SAAC Advisor and Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance Summer Spurlock. “I was really proud of the SAAC members and their commitment to the event.”
