A&M-Commerce Hosts Alumni Reception in Tyler
Texas A&M University-Commerce President Dr. Dan Jones and members of the A&M-Commerce athletic department visited with alumni from Smith County and residents from throughout the area at the Bank of Tyler on Tuesday evening.
Joining President Jones was athletic director Carlton Cooper and Lions' head football coach Guy Morriss, head men's basketball coach Sam Walker, head women's basketball coach Denny Downing, head women's soccer coach Neil Piper, head women's track and field coach Sara Davis, head volleyball coach Mark Pryor and director of sports medicine Warren Young.
In addition to the personnel from the athletic department, A&M system student regent Anthony Cullins as well as from the alumni office, Derryle Peace and Jane Martyn and from the university advancement office, Alicia Wittkopf came to Tyler for the event.
