DeUndrae Spraggins Named Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the Week

Texas A&M University-Commerce senior guard DeUndrae Spraggins was named the Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the Week on Tuesday.

The Madison, Illinois native led the Lions to the title at the Hilltopper Holiday Classic and a win over Abilene Christian on January 3rd. At the Hilltopper Holiday Classic, he was named the MVP of the tournament and led the Lions in scoring with 22 and in rebounds with five in a 72-69 win over then No. 5 Arkansas-Monticello. He shared in game-high honors with Sammy Jackson as he scored 16 points in the Lions' 87-73 win over the Wildcats.

He averaged 15.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals in the last four games en route to the weekly honor.

He is the second A&M-Commerce player to earn the weekly accolades from the LSC after teammate Cardell Hunter received recognition on December 1st.

A&M-Commerce is back in action at home on Thursday at 8 pm against Eastern New Mexico at the A&M-Commerce Field House.
