2008-09: Named Lone Star Conference North Division Freshman of the Year...played in all 28 games, averaging 25.1 minutes, 9.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game...made 40% of his 3-point field goal attempts...56 of his 84 field goals made were three pointers...led team with 56 3-point field goals and second on the team with 144 attempts...scored in double figures on 12 occasions including a a career-high 23 against East Central (Feb. 18, 2009), where he made seven 3 pointers....recorded double figures in four-consecutive games...averaged 11 points a game against LSC North Division opponents and 9.8 points in games where he came off the bench.
Prior to A&M-Commerce: Selected to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Class 4A all-state team as a senior at Sherman High School...first all-state performer from Sherman HS since 1953...ranked No. 32 in the state of Texas by Texashoops.com, making him one of the highest ranked players the Lions have signed out of high school...named all-Texomaland Player of the Year, District 5-4A Co-MVP and Sherman High School MVP in 2007...posted a season-high 35 points against Denison High School...top three-point shooter in 4A and the second-leading scorer in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex in 2006-07...averaged 20 points and 2.5 points per game in high school career...played for Dallas Mustangs in 2006-07, Dallas Hoop Dreams in 2005-06 and Texas Blue Chips from 2003-05, which are all AAU teams.
