2008-09: Along with teammate DeUndrae Spraggins were the only two players to play and start in all 28 games...averaged a team-best 32.8 minutes a contest...led the team with 114 assists...one of three Lions to average in double figures (11.2)...started the season with seven-straight games in double figures, including a season-high 22 against Tarleton (Nov. 25, 2008)...recorded double doubles against Tarleton (22 pts., 10 reb.) and Abilene Christian (13 pts., 10 reb. on Jan. 3, 2009)...scored 20 points on a perfect 6-for-6 from the field in the win over Central Oklahoma (Feb. 25, 2009)...dished out a season-high 10 assists in the victory over Cameron (Jan. 24, 2009)...scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds against Southwestern Oklahoma State (Feb. 7, 2009)...named Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the Week on December 1 and March 2.
Prior to A&M-Commerce: Spent two years with the University of Texas-Arlington, which advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2007-08...after redshirting as a freshman with the Mavericks, he saw action in 62 games over the last two seasons and averaged 4.0 points, 2.8 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game...scored a career-high 12 points against Texas-San Antonio (Jan. 23) and Sam Houston State (Feb. 22)...dished out six assists on three different occasions and had five rebounds in two games as a sophomore...during his redshirt freshman season, he was selected to the Southland Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention Team...first-team all-district, all-region and all-state as a senior at Dallas Carter High School...McDonald’s All-American nominee...second-team all-district performer as a junior...member of the A/B Honor Roll and inducted into the National Honor Society and named to the Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
