Prior to A&M-Commerce: Earned all-state and all-conference honors as a sophmore at Jones County Community College, where he played and started all 29 games...averaged 13.9 points, 4.8 assists and 2.9 reboudns per game...participated in the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-Star Basketball Game, where he scored 12 points...scored 39 points in a quarterfinal game of the MACJC State Tournament, including 19 of 20 from the free-throw line...attended Paris Junior College as a freshman...as a four-year standout at Hahnville High School in Boutte, Louisiana, he was the 2006-07 Louisiana Association of Baksetball Coaches Association Class 5A Player of the Year...also as a senior, he averaged 18 points, seven assists and four steals a game en route to leading the team to a No. 3 ranking in the final regular season poll...an all-metro selection as a junior...named to the all-metro team as a senior while winning a state tite...a two-time all-district selection in football and member of two-time district champion.
