Opening Tip
A&M-Commerce looks to build on its winning streak with three games against the southern duo of the Lone Star Conference. The Lions host Incarnate Word at the Field House Wednesday, February 1, tipping at 8 p.m. A&M-Commerce then faces A&M-Kingsville in a home-and-home series, beginning Saturday, February 4 at 3 p.m. in Kingsville before welcoming the Javelinas to the Field House for an 8 p.m. tip on Monday, February 6.

Series Information: A&M-Commerce and A&M-Kingsville boast the longest standing rivalry in Lion basketball history as the teams have met 108 on the hardwood with A&M-Commerce holding a 62-46 lead in the all-time series. The Lions won the last meeting between the two teams, a 72-53 decision at the Field House last season, which snapped a four-game losing streak to the Javelinas. A&M-Kingsville is 7-3 in the last 10 against A&M-Commerce and has won four-straight at the Steinke Center with the Lions' last win in Kingsville coming in an 85-72 victory back in 2003. A&M-Commerce has won five of the last six games against A&M-Kingsville at the Field House.

Walker Notches Career-High 17 Points in Victory Against Cameron
Sophomore Devondrick Walker continues to be a major factor in the A&M-Commerce lineup in 2011-12, appearing in 19 games with 13 starts for the Lions. Against Cameron on Saturday night, Walker recorded a career-high 17 points, including 13 in the second half. Walker shot three-of-five from the floor, including two-of-two from three-point range, and a crucial nine-of-10 from the free throw line, including a perfect eight-of-eight in the second half. Walker has scored in double figures six times for A&M-Commerce, averaging 7.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.8 steals per game.

N'Doye Ties Career-High With Four Blocks Against Aggies
Junior Mouhamadou N'doye has played limited minutes off the bench for A&M-Commerce, but the 7-0 center has made his time count. Against Midwestern State Wednesday, N'doye set a career-high with eight points with two blocks and three rebounds in 11 minutes of play. Against Cameron, N'doye tied his career-high with four blocks, three points and a pair of rebounds in nine minutes off the bench. N'doye, who is averaging 11.2 minutes per game, leads the Lone Star Conference in both total blocks (26) and blocks per game (1.6) while averaging 2.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.

Looking Ahead
A&M-Commerce and A&M-Kingsville conclude the second half of their home-and-home series back at the Field House on Monday, February 6. The game between the Lions and Javelinas will be streamed live by FoxSportsSouthwest.com and Lion fans are encouraged to come dressed in gold to show the nation their support for their Lions. Opening tip is scheduled for 8 p.m. or 25 minutes following the conclusion of the women's game.
