2007: Named to the Don Hansen Football Gazette All-Southwest Region Third Team...selected as the Lone Star Confernece North Division Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year along with Austin Ellis of Southwestern Oklahoma State...earned first team all-Lone Star Conference North Division honors...anchor of an offensive line that averaged 111.1 yards per game on the ground and 196.9 yards through the air...a lead blocker for Nabil El-Amin, who rushed for over 100 yards and an offense that averaged 354.4 yards a game in the last five games of the season. Spring 2007 (Track and Field): Earned All-American honors in the discus with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships...had a season-best throw in the finals with a toss of 167-8...only the third All-American in the discus in school history.
