Prior to A&M-Commerce: Totaled 84 tackles, including five sacks as a senior at Tates Creek high School...collected 223 tackles and 11 sacks throughout high school career...garnered defensive player of the year, all-city first-team defense and named team captain in 2008...named special teams player of the year and earned all-city honors in 2007...nabbed defensive player of the week recognition in 2006 and Tates Creek High School freshman of the year in 2005...a four-year letterwinner in football and two-year in baseball.
