Prior to A&M-Commerce: Attended the University of Central Arkansas as a freshman...in high school at Texarkana Liberty Eylau, he was a three-year starter and letterwinner on the football team and participated on the basketball and track and field teams...in football, he led the team in tackles with 151 as a senior...a Texas Sportswriters All-State selection...garnered all-city, all-conference and conference defensive MVP recognition.
