Prior to A&M-Commerce: Played on the 5A Division I runnerup team as a senior at Fort Bend Hightower, where he rushed for over 800 yards as a senior...ran for 191 yards against Pearland in state quarterfinals game...a first team all-district honoreee as a senior...played in the Space City Classic, featuring many of the top players in the Houston area...averaged seven yards a carry as a junior en route to a 500-yard season...high school teammate of A.J. Highsmith, who will be playing at the University of Miami (Fla.).
