Prior to A&M-Commerce: Earned first team all-district offensive and defensive honors as a junior and senior...claimed Victoria Advocate all-area first-team recognition on offense and defense in 2008...THSCA honorable mention all-state on offense and defense...TXSWA second-team all-state defensive honors and TXSWA third-team all-state offensive honors...a four-year letterwinner in football, three-year letterwinner in track and field, two years in basketball and one in powerlifting...district champion in shot put as a junior and placed second at regionals and sixth in state...selected first-team all-district in basketball as a senior and second-team as a junior.
