Prior to A&M-Commerce: A four-year letterwinner in football and in track and field at Barbers Hill High School.... an honorable mention all-state selection as a junior...honorable mention academic all-state as a senior...a two-time all-district selection as a running back... ....member of three record-setting relays (4x100, 4x200 and 4x400) in high school...named Special Teams Player of the Year as a sophomore...began his collegiate career at the University of Houston. 

Personal: Born March 9, 1988...son of Don and Denise Patton...twin brother, Blake is a wide receiver for the Lions...a business administration major.
