Prior to A&M-Commerce: A two-year standout at Bishop O’Dowd High School, both in football and in track and field...as a senior, he ran for 1,066 yards on 181 carries and touchdowns....presented with the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame’s Scholar-Athlete Award as a senior...also selected as team MVP...ran for over 1,200 yards as a junior and 23 touchdowns.
