Prior to A&M-Commerce: Claimed first-team all-district honors as a fullback on offense and as a linebacker on defense at Everman High School...earned three letters and started all three years on the football and baseball team...helped team to the state semifinals as a junior and senior...made 71 tackles, including 55 solos and ran for 821 yards and nine touchdowns on 94 carries as a senior...had a season-high 10 tackles in a regular season win over Stephenville.
