2008: Played in all 10 games and served as the Lions’ snapper on field goal and extra-point attempts...earned his first career start on the offensive line against Southwestern Oklahoma State (Nov. 8). 

2007: Served as the snapper on the Lions’ field goal and extra-point attempts...the Lions were third in the LSC in field goal percentage (.750)...A&M-Commerce made 28 of 31 extra-point attempts. 

2006: Played in seven games...served as the snapp er on field-goal attempts and extra-point attempts for the Lions. 

2005: Redshirted. 

Prior to A&M-Commerce: Earned two letters in football and a letter in track and field...an honorable mention all-district selection as a junior at Plano High School. 

Personal: Born May 22, 1986...son of Nelson and Lea Anne DeVega... graduated with his bachelor’s degree in radio/television at the end of spring semester 2009...working on his master’s degree in sports studies.
