Texas A&M University-Commerce senior William Green earned his second All-American honor on Tuesday as he was named to the second team D2Football.com All-American Team.

Green earlier this year was named second All-American by Daktronics and was one of three Lions to participate in the 2010 Cactus Bowl. Green was also named the Lone Star Conference North Division Defensive Lineman of the Year, led the team with 18.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks. He also managed to block two kicks and pick off a pass. The Dallas, Texas native was also selected first team all-LSC North Division after being recognized as the preseason LSC Defensive Player of the Year.

He will be recognized at halftime of the A&M-Commerce men's basketball game against Central Oklahoma on Wednesday night. Also being recognized will be Green and his teammates for winning the 2009 Lone Star Conference North Division title.
