Lions' Football Recognized at Halftime of A&M-Commerce Basketball Game
Texas A&M University-Commerce head football coach Guy Morriss, senior defensive lineman William Green and members of the 2009 Lions' football team were recognized at halftime of the Lions' men's basketball game against Central Oklahoma on Wednesday night.
Morriss was presented a plaque and recognized for earning Lone Star Conference North Division Coach of the Year. Green was recognized for earning All-American honors from Daktronics and D2Football.com. The two as well as the rest of the 2009 Lions' football team were recognized for winning the Lone Star Conference North Division title. The first outright division title by A&M-Commerce since 1990.
