William Green and Marcus Graham Earn LSC Player of the Week Recognition

Texas A&M University-Commerce senior defensive tackle William Green and junior running back Marcus Graham were selected Lone Star Conference North Division Co-Defensive and Offensive Player of the Week, respectively on Monday for their efforts in the Lions' 27-17 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State.

Green, who shares the weekly honor with UCO's Terry Hardeman, had five tackles - all for minus yardage including three of them were sacks for negative 18 yards. He set one school record and tied another with five tackles for loss to set a new school record and tied the school record with three sacks. The Dallas, Texas native also blocked a key field-goal attempt by the Savage Storm that would have tied the game late in the fourth quarter.

Graham, who for the second-straight week went over 100 yards on the ground, ran for a season-high and career-high 166 yards and a touchdown against the Savage Storm. The 166 yards by Graham are the most by an A&M-Commerce running back since Nabil El-Amin ran for 194 against East Central on October 18th, last year. The 30 carries by Graham are the most since the Lions' Cliff Edwards had 33 rushes against Southwestern Oklahoma on November 11, 2006.

Green, Graham and the Lions will look to win the Lone Star Conference North Division title outright as they take on Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday at 2 pm in Weatherford, Oklahoma. A&M-Commerce claimed a share of the title with the win on Saturday.
