Chad Washington Selected to Play in the 2010 Cactus Bowl

Texas A&M University-Commerce senior linebacker Chad Washingtonrecently became the third members of the Lions' football team selected to play in the upcoming 2010 Cactus Bowl.

The Lions are one of four institutions - Grand Valley State, Elizabeth City State and host Texas A&M-Kingsville - that will have three participants in the game.

Washington will be joined by Lions' teammates R.J. Brisbon and William Green, who were selected earlier this month. Joining the three will be Rex Norris, who received the Bobby Fox Outstanding Coach Award in 2006, will serve as an assistant coach.

The contest will played at Javelina Stadium on the campus of Texas A&M University at Kingsville on January 8, 2010.
