A four-sport athlete at Keller High School, where he was a four-year starter at safety/linebacker on the football team...made a team-best 124 tackles as a senior ...  Recognized as the team's defensive MVP and first team all-district ... Had a career-best 18 tackles, forced a fumble and picked off a pass against rival Fossil Ridge ... Lettered twice in basketball and baseball, in addition to football.
