COMMERCE, Texas – Tickets for the 2012 Lone Star Football Festival at Cowboys Stadium are now on sale through the A&M-Commerce Athletic Department. The Lions will once again open up the now three-day event, facing reigning LSC champion Midwestern State on Thursday, September 13, kicking off at 7 p.m.

The game against the Mustangs also marks A&M-Commerce's annual Harvey Martin Classic, now in its fifth season. The game recognizes former Lion All-American and Super Bowl MVP Harvey Martin, who is a member of both the A&M-Commerce Hall of Fame and the Lone Star Conference Hall of Honor.

Originally scheduled for Friday afternoon, the game was moved to Thursday in large part to gain a national television audience. The showdown between the Lions and Mustangs has been selected as the NCAA Division II Game of the Week and will be televised across the nation on CBS Sports Network.

Tickets for the 2012 Lone Star Football Festival are $20 for adults and $10 for students and children ages 1 through 18. Fans also have the option of purchasing a three-day pass, which will allow access to all six games of the event, for $35 for adults and $15 for students and children. Shipping and handling charges may be added to those who need tickets mailed. Only tickets for A&M-Commerce's game Thursday evening and the three-day passes are on sale through the A&M-Commerce Athletic Department.

Fans can also purchase tickets online through Ticketmaster in a number of different ways. Tickets can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000, online at Ticketmaster.com or at any Ticketmaster retail outlets, including the Wal-Marts in Commerce, Granbury and Weatherford and the HEB stores in Kingsville, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Alice. Keep in mind tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will include an additional processing fee.

There will be no advance sales for parking for the event. Parking will be available for $10 the day of the game as all lots will be CASH ONLY. RV, limousine and bus parking is also available in designated lots for $50.

The 2011 Lone Star Football Festival was a tremendous success for the conference as the event drew a record attendance of 24,837 for the one-day triple header. This year the conference decided to increase the event to include all LSC teams, expanding it to a three-day, six-game festival.
