Lions Begin Play at The Territory Classic
Senior Blake Worden and junior Danny Jun each shot a 4-over 76 in Monday's opening round of The Territory Classic in Duncan, Oklahoma to lead the Texas A&M University-Commerce men's golf team.
Zac Pool of East Central leads the
field after shooting a 4-under 68 and both Jun and Worden are tied
for 31st. LSC member Central Oklahoma is the team leader by a
stroke with a 292 over another LSC member Southwestern Oklahoma
State and nationally-ranked St. Edward's. The Lions are tied for
10th after posting a 308.
Senior Pinkey Hartline and junior Eric
Westerman are tied for 46th after posting a 78 and
freshman Dillon Philips is tied for 68th after a
first round total of 84 in his collegiate debut.
The final round will begin on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
