Hartline Shoots 2 Under in Final Round of The Territory Classic

senior Pinkey Hartline shot a 2-under 70 in
Tuesday's final round of The Territory Classic in Duncan, Oklahoma
to lead the Lions to a ninth-place finish.
The 70 is the lowest round that the senior from Lake Jackson has
shot during the fall portion of the Lions' schedule. Hartline
finished the two-day, 36-hole tournament with a 4-over and a share
of 20th-place honors. Hartline and his teammates all lowered their
scores in the final round and was the fifth lowest of the field in
the final round among the 14-team field.
As a team, the Lions posted a 602 (308-294) and Lone Star
Conference member Central Oklahoma took home the team title with a
577 (292-285). Zac Pool of East Central took home individual honors
after shooting 4-under, 140 (68-72) in a playoff over
Austin Bowman of UCO.
A&M-Commerce senior Blake Worden tied for
32nd with a 150 (76-74), junior Danny Jun tied for
35th with a 151 (78-75) and junior Eric Westerman
tied for 43rd with a 153 (78-75). Freshman Dillon
Phillips wraps up his collegiate debut in 74th with a 168
(84-84).
The tournament wraps up the fall schedule for the Lions.
