Dustin Gideon Leads A&M-Commerce After Opening Day of UCO/Kickingbird Classic
Junior Dustin Gideon is tied for
27th after shooting a 145 (72-73) as the Texas A&M
University-Commerce men’s golf team is in 14th after the
first day of the UCO/Kickingbird Classic.
Cameron leads the field with a 555 for a four-stroke advantage
after the first 36 holes.
Co-leader Jason Timmis leads the Aggies after shooting a five-under
135 (69-66) and he shares the lead with Cyril Bouniol of Abilene
Christian.
A&M-Commerce senior Danny Jun is tied for 41st after shooting a
147 (74-73). Freshman Tyler Duffy is tied for 45th after posting a
148 (74-74), senior Eric Westerman is tied for 79th after a 153
(74-79) and freshman T.J. McColl is tied for 96th with a 157
(78-79).
As an individual, freshman Darren Whitehouse is tied for 103rd with
a 165 (86-79).
Tuesday’s final round gets underway at 8 a.m.
