McColl Leads A&M-Commerce Men's Golf for Second-Straight Day at LSC Championships
Four members of the Texas A&M
University-Commerce men's golf team lowered their scores in
Tuesday's second round of the 2010 Lone Star Conference
Championships at WinStar Golf Course in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
The Lions are in eighth place after posting a second round 297 for
a 36-hole total of 598 (301-297). Freshman T.J.
McColl is in a tie for 19th to lead the Lions with a
36-hole total of 147 (74-73).
Senior teammate Eric Westerman is just one stroke
back and in 21st place with a 148 (75-73). A&M-Commerce junior
Dustin Gideon is tied for 29th with a 151 (74-77),
senior Danny Jun is tied for 38th after posting a
154 (78-76) and freshman Tyler Duffy is tied for
42nd with a 155 (80-75).
Midwestern State holds a three-stroke lead as the field enters
Wednesday's final round with a 570 (296-274).
Individual co-leader Travis Klutts leads the Mustangs with an
eight-under 136 (68-68). He shares the individual lead with Cyril
Bouniol of Abilene Christian, who shot an eight-under 64 in
Tuesday's second round.
Duffy will start the third round for A&M-Commerce when he tees
off at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
