CLEM WRAPS UP NCAA REGIONAL APPEARANCE WITH EVEN-PAR FINAL ROUND
DUPONT, Washington -- A&M-Commerce junior C.J. Clem wrapped up his appearance in the 2013 NCAA South Central Regional with his best performance of the week, carding an even-par 72 over Wednesday's final round. Clem closes out the 54-hole tournament with a 4-over 220, tying for 44th in the individual standings.

CLEM MATCHES HIS 2-OVER 74 IN ROUND TWO OF NCAA REGIONAL
DUPONT, Washington -- A&M-Commerce junior C.J. Clem was arguably the most consistent golfer on the Lion squad this season, and that consistency is coming through at the 2013 NCAA South Central Regional. Clem fired a 2-over 74 for the second-straight day and sits at 4-over 148 heading into Wednesday's final round at The Home Course.

DUPONT, Washington -- A&M-Commerce junior C.J. Clem was solid through the opening 18 holes of the 2013 NCAA South Central Regional, shooting a 2-over 74 at The Home Course in Dupont, Wash. Clem enters Tuesday's second round eight shots off the indvidual leader and in a tie with 19 other golfers for 41st overall.

FORT WORTH, Texas – Three Lions finished among the top-20, highlighted by a seventh-place finish by freshman Kason Childress’ 9-over 225. A&M-Commerce moved up one spot, finishing fourth at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a 60-over 924 at the Golf Club at Champions Circle.

CHILDRESS PACES LIONS ON OPENING DAY OF LSC CHAMPIONSHIPS
FORT WORTH, Texas – A&M-Commerce freshman Kason Childress has been impressive in his Lone Star Conference Championship debut, shooting a pair of 74s en route to an opening day 4-over 148 and is tied for third in the individual standings. He led A&M-Commerce who currently sits fifth with a 41-over 617 at the Golf Club at Champions Circle.

A&M-COMMERCE CLOSES OUT COMPETITION AT DBU SPRING CLASSIC
DALLAS --A&M-Commerce moved up one spot over the final round of the Dallas Baptist Spring Classic, shooting a 28-over 316 en route to a 15th-place finish at Hackberry Creek Country Club. The Lions closed out the 54-hole event with an 83-over 947 in the final tune-up before next week's Lone Star Conference Championships.

LIONS STRUGGLE ON FIRST DAY OF DALLAS BAPTIST SPRING CLASSIC
DALLAS -- Competing against some of the top teams in the region, A&M-Commerce struggled through the first two rounds of the Dallas Baptist Spring Classic at Hackberry Creek Country Club. The Lions posted a 55-over 631 through the opening 36 holes and currently sit 16th out of the 16-team field.

LION GOLF PROGRAM TO HOST ANNUAL FUNDRAISER FRIDAY, APRIL 19
COMMERCE, Texas -- The A&M-Commerce golf programs will once again hold its annual fundraiser at Webb Hill Country Club on Friday, April 19. The purpose of the event is to help raise the needed funds to allow the Lions to travel and compete in the top events against the top teams in Division II.

A&M-COMMERCE PLACES SEVENTH AT TUKWET CANYON INTERCOLLEGIATE
CORONA, Calif. – A&M-Commerce fired a 24-over 312 over the final round of the Tukwet Canyon Intercollegiate, slipping two spots and finishing seventh among the 11 team field. The Lions posted a 46-over 910 to notch their seventh top-10 finish of the season.

CORONA, Calif. – Behind a pair of strong rounds from junior C.J. Clem, A&M-Commerce finds itself tied for fifth following the first two rounds of the Tukwet Canyon Men’s Intercollegiate. A&M-Commerce shot a 22-over 598 through the first 36 holes, heading into Tuesday’s final round seeking its fourth top-five finish of the season.

The Lions closed out the 54-hole tournament with an 80-over 944, logging its sixth top-10 finish of the season.

The Lions shot a 24-over 312 through the opening 18 holes, then notched a 29-over 317 in round two, sitting just outside the team top-10.

POTTSBORO, Texas – Led by a pair of freshmen, A&M-Commerce had another solid round at Tanglewood, finishing third out of 15 teams at the 2013 Texoma Chevy Dealers Crawford Wade Invitational. The Lions posted a 13-over 301 over the final round to card a 25-over 601 for the tournament, finishing one stroke back of second.

POTTSBORO, Texas – Despite a delayed start and a cold and windy afternoon, A&M-Commerce had a solid performance, posting a 12-over 300 through the shortened opening round of the 2013 Texoma Chevy Dealers Crawford Wade Intercollegiate at Tanglewood Resort. The Lions’ B-team also competed among the 15-team field, placing 14th with a 42-over 330.

LION MEN OPEN UP SPRING SCHEDULE WITH ANNUAL TANGLEWOOD TRIP
COMMERCE, Texas -- A&M-Commerce's men's golf team returns to action this weekend, making its yearly pilgrimmage to Pottsboro for the 2013 Texoma Chevy Dealers Crawford Wade Intercollegiate on Monday, February 25th and Tuesday, February 26th. The field will be one of the largest in the tournament's history as 15 schools will compete for the 2013 crown.

DUNCAN, Okla. – Junior Patrick Russo fired a 2-over 74 over the final round, then held off a challenging field to capture the individual title at the 2012 Territory Fall Classic with a 1-over 145. Russo paced the Lions to a sixth-place team finish, shooting a 31-over 607 for the 36 hole tournament.

Dragon Fall Invitational as freshman Kason Childress tied for the individual title as the Lions placed fourth overall. A&M-Commerce notched a 12-over 572 after shooting a 289 in round one and a 283 in round two.

Texas A&M University-Commerce has today announced its 2012 men’s golf fall schedule as the Lions will compete in five events in the fall portion of the slate, leading up to another home tournament at The Colony in early November.
