2008: Named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team for his efforts in the classroom…fifth in the high jump (5-11 ½) at the LSC Championships…posted six top ten finishes, including a fourth-place performance at the Tarleton State Relays (6-2), Michael Johnson Invitational (6-2 ¾) and McMurry Relays (6-3 ¼), fifth place at the David Noble Relays (6-0), eighth at the Bobby Lane Invitational (6-4) and 10^th –place performance at the Mean Green Twilight (6-2 ¾). 

2007: Eighth in the high jump, clearing 6-2 and 16th in the long jump with a jump of 19-5 ½ at the Lone Star Conference Championships...ninth in the long jump with a season-best leap of 19-6 ½ at the Tarleton State Invitational...sixth in the high jump (6-2) and 10th in the long jump (18-9) at the McMurry Relays...20th in the long jump at the Bobby Lane Arlington Invitational with a leap of 18-10...11th in the long jump and second among Division II competitors at the 2007 Boathouse Sports North Texas Classic with a leap of 18-7 ¼...eighth in the high jump (5-11 ½) and 11th in the long jump (19-0) at the Trinity Invitational.

2006: Set a season-best in the high jump at the Dogwood Invitational with a clearance of 6-2 ¾ in the high jump…tied for seventh in the LSC Championships in the high jump, clearing 6-0 1/2…tied for second in the high jump at the McMurry Relays with a clearance of 6-2…12^th at the Dr. Pepper Invitational in the high jump (6-0 ¾).

Prior to A&M-Commerce: Competed in track for four years at Boles High School... participated in basketball for four years...set the school record in the high jump, clearing 6-5...team MVP of the basketball and track and field teams...team was regional champion in basketball...in addition to the high jump, he participated in the triple and long jump, the 4x400-meter relay and the 400-meter dash.
