2008 (Cross Country): Named all-Lone Star Conference along with Tyler Tyndell and Robert Reed...seventh among freshman and 32nd overall at the NCAA South Central Regional meet (32:50)...seventh overall and second among freshman at the LSC Championships (24:27)...52nd at the Cowboy Jamboree (26:01) and second among his A&M-Commerce teammates...fourth overall as the Lions' won the UIW Cardinal Invitational...in his collegiate debut, he was the second freshman and in 23rd place overall (26:21.78) at the Brooks Memphis XC Twilight.

Prior to A&M-Commerce: A four-year letterwinner in both cross country and in track and field…a three-time state champion – as a junior, he was the 2A individual champion in cross country and as a senior, in the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter run in track and field…following his junior season, he finished 12th at the Foot Locker South Regional in a personal-best time of 15:18…in cross country, he was a four-time district champion, three-time regional champion and two-time state runner up…in track and field, he won the district title on three occasions in the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter run, he was a regional champion and finished second twice and on the state level, he was a runner up in the 3,200-meter run as a sophomore.

Personal: Born March 6, 1990…son of Mickel and Wendy Hughes…high school teammate of current A&M-Commerce runner Logan Kelly.
