2008: 17th at the NCAA Championships in the discus (131-0)…third in the discus (137-3) and fifth in the shot put (38-2 ¾) at the LSC Championships…earned LSC Women’s Co-Field Athlete of the Week honors after her victory at the Mean Green Twilight in the discus (159-4)…selected as the LSC Field Athlete of the Week after a ninth-place finish in the discus (142-4) and 16th-place performance in the shot put (34-10 ½) at the Bobby Lane Invitational…second in the shot put (39-3 1/4) and in the discus (137-9) at the David Noble Relays…third in the discus (137-7) and in the shot put (39-0 ½) at the Tarleton State Invitational…fourth in the discus (149-1) at the Michael Johnson Invitational.
Prior to A&M-Commerce: Attended the University of Louisiana-Monroe…finished second in the discus (152-4) at the 2007 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships to earn all-conference honors…fifth in the discus (149-11) and ninth in the shot put (41-6 ½) at the LSU Alumni Gold meet…as a senior, at Lancaster High School, she finished fourth in the discus…served as team co-captain during her senior year as team won state title for a sixth-consecutive year…coach at Lancaster High School is A&M-Commerce alumnus Beverly Humphrey…a four-year letterwinner on the track and field team and also earned two letters in volleyball.
