2008 (Cross Country): Earned Academic All-Star Conference honors...44th and sixth among his A&M-Commerce teammates at the LSC Championships (27:23)...109th at the NCAA South Central Regional meet, covering the 10k course in 35:36...17th overall at the UIW Cardinal Invitational (36:25.6) to lead A&M-Commerce to the team title...123rd at the Brooks Memphis XC Twilight (29:27.81) and 146th at the Cowboy Jamboree (29:39).

2007 (Track and Field): 15th in the 1,500-meter run (4:21.95) at the LSC Championships...sixth in the 1,500-meter run at both the David Noble Relays and at the Mean Green Twilight...eighth in the 1,500-meter run (4:21.65) at the Tarleton State Relays.

2007 (Cross Country): 20th at the UCO Land Run (Sept. 1), covering the 4-mile course in 24:14.27...posted a season-best 8k time of 28:32.22 at the Brooks Memphis Twilight XC Classic, finishing 173rd out of 341 runners...42nd at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a time of 31:12.69 in his first collegiate 10k race...63rd at the Texas A&M Invitational in an 8k time of 29:10...97th at the NCAA South Central Regionals in a 10k time of 35:49.1. 

Prior to A&M-Commerce: Attended Grayson Community College for two years before transferring to A&M-Commerce...a three-time regional qualifier in cross country at Anna High School, where he also qualified as a senior on the track and field team...as a senior, he served as the team captain on the cross country team that advanced to regional competition...as a senior, in track and field, qualified in the 1,600 and 3,200-meter run as well as in the triple jump en route to team MVP honors...earned recognition for his efforts in livestock shows and Future Farmers of America.
