2008: Seventh in the decathlon (5,201 pts.) at the 2008 LSC Championships, won the discus (140-6) and shot put (39-3)…second in the decathlon (6,456 pts.) at the 2008 David Noble Relays, where he posted season-best performances in the 100 and 400-meter dash, the high and long jump as well as the javelin…won the 110-meter hurdles (15.24) at the McMurry Relays…eighth in the 110-meter hurdles (15.39) at the Bobby Lane Invitational…fifth in the 110-meter hurdles (15.90) and seventh in the long jump (18-8) at the Tarleton State Relays.

Prior to A&M-Commerce: A two-year letterwinner in track and field...advanced to the state championships in the decathlon as a freshman at Cerritos Community College...in football, he had 28 tackles as a freshman and recorded a season-high seven in the final game of the year against Santa Ana College...tallied five stops against Long Beach City College...intercepted a pass against Golden West College and returned it 13 yards...attended Bellflower High School, where he was named the track team's MVP all four years and won the league title in the hurdles as a junior and senior...in football he played both offense and defense...as a senior, he recorded 19 tackles and an interception as a safety and caught nine passes for 263 yards and two scores as a receiver...named the team's Best All-Around Athlete as a senior and Most Improved Player as a junior...caught six passes for 156 yards and two scores as a junior...also lettered in basketball.
