2006: Fifth in the shot put (50-0 3/4) and 15th in the discus (113-9) at the LSC Championships…third in the shot put (46-0) and fifth in the discus (119-2) at the season opening Trinity Invitational…fourth in the shot put (44-3 1/4) and eighth in the discus (119-9) at the McMurry Indian Relays…fifth in the shot put (49-7) and 16th in the discus (115-6) at the Mean Green Twilight…fifth in the shot put (48-10 ¼) and seventh in the discus (132-0) at the Dogwood Invitational, hosted by Stephen F. Austin.
2005: 12th at the LSC Championships in both the shot put (42-10 ½) and in the discus (120-9)…had the third-best performance overall for A&M-Commerce at the UTA Open in the shot put (46-5 ½)...posted a season-best throw of 127-4 in the discus at the Tarleton State Tri-Meet.
Prior to A&M-Commerce: A three-sport letterwinner in high school earning letters in football, wrestling and track and field...a regional qualifier in the discus...two-time district champion in the shot put...holds the school record in the shot put...named honorable mention academic all-state for football.
Personal: Born on March 28, 1986...married to the former Amanda Barry and they have a daughter, Riley...son of Peter and Cherylea Rayome...a special education major.
