2008 (Cross Country): Received all-Lone Star Conference recognition, following an eighth-place finish (24:54) at the LSC Championships…named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team for his academic and athletic efforts…third at the UIW Cardinal Invitational (32:59.9) as the Lions’ won the team title…earned all-region honors with a 13th-place finish (32:01.5) at the NCAA South Central Regional as A&M-Commerce finished fifth as a team…third among his A&M-Commerce teammates and 59th overall at the Cowboy Jamboree in an 8k career-best time of 26:01.
2008 (Track and Field): Just missed qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a career-best performance in the 1,500-meter run (3:53.76) en route to an eighth-place finish at the 2008 Bobby Lane Invitational…sixth in the 1,500-meter run (3:59.60) at the LSC Championships…won the 1,500-meter run at the Mean Green Twilight and the David Noble Relays…sixth in the 5,000-meter run (15:44.82) at the Tarleton State Relays.
2007 (Cross Country): Third among his A&M-Commerce teammates as the Lions finished fourth at the LSC Championships…72nd at the NCAA South Central Regional meet (34:17.4)…ninth at the UCO Land Run, running the four-mile course in 22:29.51…46th at the Texas A&M Invitational (27:31)…team named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
2007 (Track and Field): Won the 1,500-meter run (4:09.83) and third leg of the sixth-place 4x400-meter relay at the McMurry Relays…second in the 1,500-meter run (4:08.82) at the Tarleton State Invitational…fifth in the 1,500-meter run (4:03.14) and 13th in the 800-meter run (2:02.28) at the LSC Championships…third in the 1,500-meter run (4:07.91) at the TCU Invitational… fifth in the 1,500-meter run (4:14.96) and eighth in the 5,000-meter run (17:05.01) at the Trinity Invitational…eighth in the 3,000-meter run (9:12.08) at the Boathouse Sports North Texas Classic…13th in the 1,500-meter run (4:12.56) at the Dr. Pepper Invitational
2006 (Cross Country): Third among his A&M-Commerce teammates in final four meets of the season at the LSC Championships, the Missouri Southern State Stampede, the Cowboy Jamboree and the Brooks Memphis XC Twilight…37th at the LSC Championships (29:16)…fourth among his A&M-Commerce teammates and 57th overall in his collegiate debut at the UT Tyler Invitational.
Prior to A&M-Commerce: A four-year letterwinner in track and field and two-year letterwinner in cross country at Sachse High School...a two-time all-district and team MVP selection in cross country...as a junior, he was the district champion in cross country and in the 1,600 and 3,200-meter run...named team MVP as a junior in track and field...served as team captain during his senior year.
