Shot Put: 39-3 – 2008 Michael Johnson Classic

2008: Third in the shot put at the LSC Championships (38-9 ½), McMurry Relays (37-10 1/2) and the David Noble Relays (36-10 ¼)…fifth in the shot put (35-8 1/2) at the Tarleton State Relays...seventh in the shot put (39-3) at the Michael Johnson Classic…eighth in the shot put at the Mean Green Twilight (37-7 ¾).

2007: Redshirted.

Prior to A&M-Commerce: Third in the shot put at the state meet during her senior year…a three-sport letterwinner at Valley View High School, earning four letters in both track and field and softball…three more in basketball…set school record in the shot put with a throw of 39-9.

Personal: Born January 28, 1988...daughter of Richard and Jamie Smith...a counseling major.
