Prior to A&M-Commerce: A four-year letterwinner on the cross country, track and field and soccer teams at Elgin High School...first girl in school history to be a four-time regional qualifier in cross country...led Elgin to its first-ever district team title as a senior after third place finishes during freshman, sophomore and junior year...an all-academic selection as a junior in both soccer and cross country.

Personal: Born August 10, 1989...daughter of Hermelando and Leopoldina Solorio...a criminal justice and Spanish major.
