Prior to A&M-Commerce: Qualified for the state meet while at Lone Oak High School in both the 110- and 300-meter hurdles his senior year, placing fourth and second, respectively...also advanced to the regional meet as a member of the 4x400-meter relay...also participated in basketball at Lone Oak...named MVP in both basketball and track and field his senior year at Lone Oak...named all-district in basketball his senior year.
